The Cat tribes of Darasum.

The Cat tribes of Darasum are somewhat of a legend to many of the other races on the continent. Residing deep within the Deep wood and with a few Smaller tribes on the Isle Ratel-Torax most of the Cat tribes follow a somewhat primitive tribal system. The cat tribes live secluded from most of the other races and try to avoid interaction them although, every once in a while there will be a tribe member who leaves for whatever reason. There is a chief who leads each clan, with a second in command that he chooses. Oftentimes the chief is the strongest male in the tribe, but there have been known to be female cheiftesses as well as some more intelluctual chiefs. The life of a tribal cat is not an easy one and oftentimes the young do not survive childhood, this has kept the cat's numbers relatively small and prevented them from really threatening any of the other races. This is not to say that one would be forgiven or spared should they invade into the tribes territory. Whilst they are not crazed beasts, the cat tribes are unforgiving should their young or tribes be threatened by anything, or anyone.
